Elements of a Good Sample Eulogy

A good sample eulogy is one with a structure. It should have an opening and a closing and a middle that ties up the two concisely. Keep the opening simple. The middle is where you talk about the dearly departed through stories that bring his memory to life. Try to recount anecdotes that are endearing and funny. When you close your eulogy, sum up what you will miss the most about the person. Then, thank those who helped arrange the funeral and those who showed up for it.
